چکیده

Background: Up-regulation of ribosome biogenesis encodes the factors related to carcinogenesis. It has been shown that nucleus diameter and number nucleoli increase from normal mucosa oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). The relationship between nuclear parameters lymph node involvement in OSCC not established, yet. aim this study was evaluate comprising count nucleus: ratio relation regional OSCC. Methods: Thirty-four formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded sections different histopathologic grades were stained with methyl green-pyronin. Mean calculated 100 tumor cells 10 random selected fields compared based on involvement. Results: Nucleoli cases metastasis nodes significantly without (P=0.29). difference significant (P=0.52). No correlation found (r=0.08, P=0.78). (r=0.58, P=0.02). Conclusion: tumoral correlated Based results, can potentially be a useful tool determine

Correlation between p33ING1b Cytoplasmic Transfer and Lymph Node Metastasis in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Background: Oral squamous cell carcinoma is the sixth most common malignancy in the world today.  ING1b/p33 is a newly-discovered tumor suppressor which enhances p53 activity. Transfer of p33 protein from nucleus to cytoplasmic compartment has been previously reported in leukemias. The objective of this study was to determine the correlation between p33ing1b cytoplasmic transfer and lymph node ...
